StoreSync 3.0: Know What Works, Not Just What Changed
StoreSync 3.0 is here, and it’s about answers. You tweak your keywords, push a new version — and then what? The new analytics card closes that loop: it shows raw downloads and impressions, just like App Store Connect, so you can finally see what your metadata changes actually did. Not just what changed — what worked.
What’s in 3.0
- Matrix Action Center — the keyword matrix now suggests concrete actions: remove dead-weight keywords, add missing Apple modifiers, placement advice, and one-click “Auto-Pack 100 Chars”.
- Compare versions — diff metadata between any two app versions, locale by locale, with GitHub-style inline highlighting of changed fragments (CJK-aware).
- Inline diff everywhere — every before/after view (version history, translation review) now uses the same inline diff, with strikethrough for removed text.
- Paywall 2.0 — the benefit list matches the real Pro features 1:1, contextual headlines per entry point, 3 free AI rewrites with a counter badge, and double-purchase protection.
- Brand accent color — a signature indigo-violet accent, tuned separately for light and dark mode; tag, badge and status colors retuned to stay readable in both themes.
- Stricter dead-word detection — a keyword is only flagged as dead weight after ~80% of its combinations are verified with zero live hits, so an interrupted scan no longer produces false positives.
Safer workflows
A release this size is also about trust — the small moments where the app protects your work:
- Pre-push review — see exactly what will be uploaded (N locales, M fields per locale) before anything goes live.
- Unsaved-changes guard — switching apps with a dirty draft asks: Discard & Switch, Push First, or Cancel. Drafts survive app switching.
- Translation review — bulk translate computes first, then shows a before/after sheet. Apply per locale, per field, or select all/none.
- Partial sync — one failing locale no longer kills the whole sync. Failures are collected per locale with a “Retry failed” button.
- Server-status awareness — automatic retries with backoff, a visible “server not responding” banner on stalled requests, and duplicate-safe creation on retry.
Reliability fixes
Expired App Store Connect tokens now refresh automatically, rate limits and timeouts no longer masquerade as “zero demand”, clearing a field actually clears it on App Store Connect, and CJK keywords get proper tokenization — plus a long list of smaller fixes across syncing, translations, and keyword tools.
